She also appeared in "The Bashful Bachelor" (1942) with Lum and Abner and "Sakima and the Masked Marvel" (1943). Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like "The Ape Man" (1943), "Christmas Holiday" (1944) with Deanna Durbin and "Forty Thieves" (1944). She also appeared in the musical comedy "Sensations of 1945" (1944) with Eleanor Powell. Nearing the end of her career, she tackled roles in "Voodoo Man" (1944), "The Chinese Ring" (1947) and "Three on a Ticket" (1947). She also appeared in the Robert Young comedy "And Baby Makes Three" (1949). Currie last appeared on "Lugosi: Hollywood's Dracula" (2000). Currie passed away in September 2013 at the age of 100.
